Las Fallas in Valencia 2026: Your Easy Must-See Guide

Las Fallas is Valencia's biggest and most famous festival. For weeks, the city turns into a living mix of street art, tradition, music, firecrackers, lights, flowers, fireworks, and neighbourhood parties. And the best part is that it doesn't happen in one arena or one square. Las Fallas happens all over the city.

That's exactly why exploring by bike is one of the easiest ways to experience it. With a bike from Pelican Bike Valencia, you can move between neighbourhoods fast, avoid crowded public transport, and stop whenever something catches your eye.

What is Las Fallas?

During Las Fallas, artists build huge sculptures called fallas (also known as monuments). Some are funny, some are beautiful, some are political, and many are simply impressive. You'll find them in almost every neighbourhood, from small streets to the biggest squares.

The festival builds day by day and ends with La Cremà, when the monuments are burned in an unforgettable final night. It's art, fire, emotion, and tradition all in one.

Why explore Las Fallas by bike?

Valencia gets very busy during Las Fallas. Streets can be crowded, some areas close for events, and taxis can be slow. A bike makes everything easier:

Tip: For the Mascletà at Plaza del Ayuntamiento (14:00), park your bike a little outside the busiest area and walk the last few minutes.
